*When upgrading from
a Protel 2000, 310 or 7000 to a new Protel 310 or 7000C, no new hardware
is required. If upgrading from a Protel 200B or 200BB+ to a Protel 310
or 7000C, the purchase of a 15-to-25 pin keypad adaptor will be
necessary if your payphone's keypad does not have a 25-pin keypad
plug. If necessary, you can purchase a
15-to-25 pin keypad adaptor here. If
upgrading from any Protel board to an Elcotel Series-5, the purchase of

an Ernest D-3 or ETX to any of the 3 Trade-In boards, the purchase of a
48V Relay and possibly a Coin Hopper will be necessary. If your Ernest
phone has a standard Coin Hopper with 12V relay, then only the 48V relay
will be necessary (the 48V relay will replace the 12V relay, to see a

if your Ernest phone has a one-piece 12V Dual-Solenoid Relay/Hopper

Then mail your old circuit board into the address on the bottom of this
page, along with a receipt of your new order, and we will mail you a
refund check.
All trade-in circuit boards
must be received within 45 days of purchase to qualify for a refund check.

with a tracking number system so you can track your trade-in phone coming
back to us.
