The Cradle / Reed Switch Assy. utilizes a reed switch to signal the on/off hook status of the telephone when a Magnetic Handset is used in conjunction with it. This simple design uses no moving parts and is easier to maintain than most traditional hookswitches that rely on a moving lever and micro switch.
