The Elcotel Model 5501 circuit board was manufactured from the mid 1990s to early 2000s and is designed for use in Western Electric/ATT housings.

- Line-Powered, requires no electricity.
- Compatible with most Western Electric / AT&T payphone housings.
- Also known as Olympian 5500 or Olympian 5501.
- Programming and software updates are fully downloadable
- Crisp, clean voice prompts.
- Includes connection for Vault Alarm Switch.
- UL-listed.
- FCC Registered.

Telephone line powered. 42 VDC to 56 VDC
Loop current range: 22 mA to 90 mA
POTS line, (B-1 or COCOT), loop start, standard dial tone 600/120 Hz
Required Housing: Western Electric or AT&T style
Required Dial/Hookswitch Assy: Western 61C with 11-pin male round connector
Required Coin Acceptor/Validator: Western 20A, 22A, 22B, or Mars LPV
Required Coin Relay/Escrow: Western 1A Coin Relay/Hopper
