The Electret handset is an alternative to traditional handsets with carbon microphones. It includes a premium electret condensor microphone which is designed to last much longer than a carbon microphone. The electret microphone efficiently transmits a pure and clear sound and has extra sensitivity with better reproduction fidelity. It eliminates the granule packing problem which plagues carbon microphones over time. Our handsets feature high-quality elements and are constructed of Xenoy which is one of the strongest available plastics on the market. These handsets are ideal for tough street locations prone to vandalism. Available in standard 32" cord length. These handsets are compatible with just about any telephone device in the world.

Each handset consist of the following elements:

It is a solid state pre-amplifier that utilizes telephone power. It maintains constant line-level and improves the signal-to-noise ratio in all acoustic communications.
